We Love Yoga!

Do you practice yoga?  We do!!  We have learned about the many benefits of yoga including practicing our breathing, strength, balance, calmness and mindfulness.

We start with some mindful breathing!

We have tried lots of positions including: cat/cow, downward dog, dolphin, lion, stork, frog and several others.

Animals and Adaptations!

The Grade Twos have just finished a unit on animals.

We learned about the characteristics of animals, their habitats, the features of their habitats and how they survive by adapting to their environment.

At the end of the unit, each students researched a specific animal, and created a page for a class book.

Have a look at some of the pages of our book.

What is your favorite animal?  Do you know what adaptations it developed in order to survive?  Let us know what you find out!!
